I have had a maintenance contract with Safegas for my domestic heating and been more than impressed with their service for many years. So when I was instructed by the Church PCC to seek quotes for replacing the gas fired central heating boilers in our Church and community hall which were condemned I contacted Safegas, in addition to three other companies. Two of those companies failed to turn up, the other proved to be very expensive whereas Safegas made an appointment for a site visit.
I met up with Alan Bolton (Technical Director) who arrived promptly and talking with him gave me confidence that a good job would be done; he promised a quote with a few days and true to his word the quote came, the PCC accepted the quote and the go ahead was given. From arranging times and dates with Paul Wiseman (Service Support Manager), everything went smoothly right up to the completion of both jobs. John the Engineer and his Apprentice, Adam, were on site early each morning and at the end of the day a progress report was given verbally. They left both boilers locations clean, tidy and clear of rubbish; the gentlemen were at all times polite and helpful with the instructions for the boilers.
Everyone I dealt with was a credit to the company and I have no qualms about recommending Safegas to anyone.

Your team made the whole process so easy right from ordering the boiler to completion, from the initial phone call the Service Manager (Paul) was with us 2 days later and was highly knowledgeable on the product offering. The installation team arrived a week later and fitted the new boiler with no problems, they took all the old equipment away and the house looked as though they had never been. I was very pleased with Safegas’ service from my initial call regarding my new radiators, they fitted me in very quickly as my house was cold and I am so I am glad it was sorted before Christmas!
During the quote stage for the new radiators, I was kept very much informed and since then I have also decided to take out a maintenance plan with Safegas. When the engineers came to fit the radiators, they were in and out quickly which was fantastic since I had to go to work. They also put dust sheets down, cleaned up after themselves and disposed of the old radiators.
All in all, 10 out of 10 and I have and will continue to recommend Safegas.

It seems the school of thought for the life of home boilers is around ten years, but not with the engineers at Safegas, without their expertise I would be on my third boiler by now. Safegas gave me a very competitive quote and an instillation date was arranged and the engineer called John would do the deed.
John quietly without mess started the instillation which took most of the day. Nothing was a trouble for John and the pipework was a vast improvement from the original instillation which now offered me space to install much need shelving. Once completed, John instructed us both on the workings of this new system and assured us that he would return if we had any questions. John is rated a 10 in our books for all the work he did on the day and was such a lovely person to boot.
Safegas has also instigated a reduction on our monthly maintenance contract that over a ten year period amounts to nearly a quarter of the cost of the instillation…..Wow.

Late on 25th September, I was surprised to find that there was a fault in with my Worcester Bosch boiler, neither the central heating nor the hot water system was working. I rang the telephone number for Safegas, and although late on a Sunday night, I was able to speak to someone who also contacted an engineer.
After midnight the engineer rang and re-assured me that I had taken the correct appropriate steps and all was safe. The next morning I received an early phone call to say that someone would come that same afternoon. An engineer did, and the boiler is back in working order.
I just write to express appreciation of the fact that Safegas’ 24 hour service did come into action, which I found very re-assuring and helpful.
